Kiln Dried Fir
The entire exterior of this home is sided in kiln dried douglas fir with mitered corners. This is a very time consuming feature which as on previous project builds has been made possible by the introduction of new water proof glues and weather resistant water borne stains.
Interior doors were made at Road’s End Contracting’s woodworking shop. These doors ar 1 ¾” thick solid vertical grain douglas fir with a ½” cherry inlay.
